The YT-74231 safety rope with adjustable length is an element of the fall arrest system designed to work in support. The rope is attached with carabiners to a harness with a hip belt, e.g. YT-74220

The YT-74231 safety rope has been tested in an EU-accredited laboratory and meets the requirements of EN 358: 1999 and EN 354: 2010.

SECURITY AND LEGAL ASPECTS

Work at height is work performed above 1 meter above the ground / floor, the surface of which is not surrounded on all sides by solid walls or a protective structure up to a height of 1.5 meters. If in such conditions it is not possible to apply collective protection measures, the employer, when commissioning work, should, inter alia, provide personal protective equipment. Each piece of fall protection equipment should meet certain safety standards that the manufacturer only confirms through an EU-accredited testing laboratory. Confirmation of compliance with the standards primarily guarantees the user's safety, but also protects both the employee and the employer against financial consequences resulting from penalties imposed by the labor inspection institution.

All elements of the YATO fall protection equipment have up-to-date tests confirming compliance with safety standards, and their use in accordance with the instructions guarantees 5 years of reliable operation.

THE TERM OF VALIDITY

The lifetime of the lanyard is five years from the first use.
