The universal meter YT-73091 is equipped with measuring clamps that allow the measurement of AC current in a single wire by inductive method. This allows you to measure much higher currents than conventional YT-7308X series meters (up to 600A). The maximum diameter of the conductor tested by the YT-73091 multimeter is 37mm

In addition to measuring alternating current, this unit can measure DC voltage, alternating voltage, resistance, temperature, and check the operation of the diodes.

Buzzer is useful for inspection of electrical installations - it allows us to easily verify the continuity of the circuit. Auto multimeter off feature saves battery. An additional case protects the multimeter against falls and bumps in transport.

In addition, the YT-73086 digital meter allows the measurement of temperature, which is particularly useful for detecting faulty components in electrical installations (increased resistance, eg faulty cable, causes heating of the component).

The "DATA H" button is used to keep the measured value on the display. The "MAX H" button is used to keep the highest measured value in the display. Both of these buttons are very useful for high volatility measurements.

The illuminated screen of the meter enables operation in low light conditions.

How to use
Measure the ac current with the clamp as follows: Select the appropriate measuring range with the selector. Then open the pliers by pressing the lever. The single wire through which the alternating current flows (the maximum diameter of the tested conductor is 37 mm) should be placed inside the clamps and closed. The jaws of the clamps should fit securely to each other, and the wire should be at the center of the clamp. Otherwise, a measurement error may occur. The display reads the measured value.
