A hook carabiner, YT-74230 carabiner with an automatic locking latch is an element of the fall arrest system. The carabiner attached to the rope is usually used as a fastening element for anchoring points fixed in walls, ceilings or lintels and, for example, when working on scaffolding.

Work at height is work performed above 1 meter above the ground / floor, the surface of which is not surrounded on all sides by solid walls or a protective structure up to a height of 1.5 meters. If in such conditions it is not possible to apply collective protection measures, the employer, when commissioning work, should, inter alia, provide personal protective equipment.
